The automatic welding screen protects the eyes and skin against the damaging effect of the arc's ultraviolet and infrared rays during welding. Thanks to an adjustable headband it provides not only optimum safety but also high comfort during operation. Compliance with safety classes 9 to 13 is fulfilled (equivalent to the recommended safety levels according to EN 175). The solar-powered safety filter takes only 0.00003 seconds to darken after the arc lights up. Sensitivity, safety level and delay are adjustable in order to adjust the speed and intensity of the darkening as well as the delay time before brightening to the particular welding task. The screens are replaceable (one additional screen is supplied with the welder).
